×

Weekend Course for Beginners to Achieve Basic Level

The course is designed for those who want to go from practically zero to having a basic foundation in both handling drones and having fundamental knowledge of technical aspects, as well as of course flying drones, over a weekend. Normally, the weekend course begins with a 3-hour theory session on Friday evening, followed by two full days with 10-12 hours where practice alternates with reviews and some theory sessions, but it can be adapted according to preferences. The course can of course also be given on other weekdays than just weekends.

2-Week FPV Drone Pilot Course

During the course, theory alternates with operating drones in a simulator to quickly be able to mass-train certain aspects, along with of course flying real drones. The focus is on both gaining a broad foundation and getting lots of practice in controlling First Person View drones. During the course, capabilities are built up by gradually adding and testing different elements. Orientation in new environments and navigation. Obstacle courses. Use of various software and communication equipment. Identification and hunting of targets based on given GPS coordinates. Combating moving targets. Flying with extra weight. Cooperation within a group.

×

1-Week Intensive Course for People with Previous Extensive Drone Experience

Some theory and simulator training occurs. The amount depends on your prior knowledge. After that, it mainly involves flying real drones. The focus is on both gaining a broad foundation and getting lots of practice in controlling First Person View drones. During the course, capabilities are built up by gradually adding and testing different elements. Orientation in new environments and navigation. Obstacle courses. One-Week Course (Part 2)

This course is aimed at those who will use drones in groups and may lead such a group. This is a continuation course that goes deeper. Here you will learn to take the step from working with drones alone to how drones should be seen and used in a larger context. How do you cooperate and coordinate in larger and smaller units? Here you get a comprehensive understanding of this and how to use drones systematically as a resource in larger and smaller units.

Civilian Drone Course with Focus on Logistics

Here the focus is on purely civilian applications in the form of deliveries. Planning, handling and executing transports with drones of various sizes as operators. The course length can be adapted according to participants' needs and preferences.

×

The Drone as Aerial Camera

Here we dive deep into the drone's function as a surveillance tool and as an instrument for filming from above.

×

The Drone as a Tool in Agriculture and Forestry

Ukraine has long had extensive experience with drone use in modern agriculture, and here we go through methodology, applications and practical examples.

×

Drone Engineering Course 3 Days

This course is suitable for those who are technically inclined and want to start their own drone workshop or manufacturing based on purchased parts and components.

The King of War

Drones in various forms have become an increasingly decisive tool during the war in Ukraine for solving tasks that initially largely consisted of reconnaissance. Gradually, they have increasingly come to perform more and more offensive, pure attack missions to eliminate both enemy equipment and personnel. Ukraine's Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyj stated in February that 66% of Russian losses in terms of equipment and vehicles were caused by drones during January 2025. The vast majority of these Russian losses were caused by so-called First-Person View (FPV) drones, accounting for 49% of total Russian losses. These drones are kamikaze drones as they are destroyed when they hit the target or possibly another object that gets in their way.

Together with multi-use drones that are often used to drop bombs, these are now indispensable systems and drones also have a long range of other applications such as evacuation of wounded and mine laying.

Russia plans, according to Ukrainian intelligence reports, to establish 277 different drone units with a total of 210,000 personnel in the form of drone pilots and support staff by 2030. Drones are therefore an indispensable part of modern warfare that is here to stay.

Learn from the best – Ukraine!

Ukraine is world-leading in drone warfare and we are happy to share our experiences.

We organize lectures, courses and entire training programs both for you who wish to become a drone pilot, want to build or repair drones, or lead larger or smaller units of cooperating drones and drone pilots. Handling enemy jamming/electronic warfare is also included as a component.

We can offer tailored drone training packages in

Investments in Ukrainian defense technology

Recently, some information has emerged in the news flow about Swedish companies and companies from other countries investing in Ukrainian military technology companies, typically quite new ones. With somewhat more sensational naming, there's talk about investments in defense tech startups. It's much needed that more capital comes into these companies that often represent very innovative solutions. At the same time, it can feel a bit provocative when someone in Swedish media expresses that they are "looking for gold nuggets" among Ukrainian defense industry companies.

Of course, it will be possible to make money from what is developed in Ukraine and then exported after the war. However, entering this with the primary purpose of making money is the wrong starting point. The defense industry in Ukraine's absolute priority is to develop and produce solutions that can be used to defend Ukraine specifically. If you therefore invest money to help Ukraine and possibly as a bonus in the future get your money back with good returns, then you're on the right track.
If you instead see this more straightforwardly as a business opportunity, then you're more of an opportunist who doesn't quite see that this is about something much bigger. There are a number of foreign actors who don't advertise outwardly that they are active in Ukraine, but do great good and understand exactly how everything connects. They have no need to go to their respective country's business press to get pats on the back and attract more capital.

Are you interested in investing in small or medium-sized Ukrainian defense technology startups? Send an email to info@droneskills.se and tell us a bit more about yourself/your company and what might be relevant. There are namely many good initiatives here in Ukraine that go under the radar for someone sitting in Stockholm, but which can provide very good leverage for Ukraine's defense and in time also as a pure investment as well for that matter.
